Corrections Desk

See an error? Tell us.

EscrowCases is a public-record directory. If you see a wrong status, a broken source link, a missing case, or a factual error in a summary, we want to know. The registry of record always wins.

How to submit a correction

Email corrections@tryveto.com with the following:

  • The case title or ID from the directory
  • What is wrong (the specific field or claim)
  • What the correct information should be
  • A source link supporting the correction (if available)

Corrections are acknowledged within 7 days. If the correction is confirmed against the primary source, the entry is updated in the next pipeline run.

What we correct

  • Wrong status: an entry marked "resolved" that is actually ongoing, or vice versa
  • Broken source link: a URL that no longer resolves or has moved
  • Factual error in summary: a description that does not match the source order or opinion
  • Missing case: a DFPI enforcement action or court case that should be in the directory
  • Wrong date or citation: an incorrect date or case/license number

What we do not change

We do not remove entries at the request of a named party. The entries are public records sourced from government and court websites. If an order was issued in error and was subsequently vacated or overturned, we will update the status and summary to reflect that, but the entry remains in the directory with a link to the vacating order.

Source integrity

No DFPI or court case ships in the directory unless its source link resolves to the public order, opinion, or filing. If a source link breaks, the entry is flagged and the pipeline attempts to find the new URL on the DFPI or court website before removing the entry.

The office decides. Veto records the review.

EscrowCases does not approve, certify, check, insure, or recommend any escrow company. This is a public-record directory, not legal advice.
